This Privacy Policy explains what personal data Axonic Works (“we”, “us”) collects when you use axonicworks.com, why we collect it, and the rights you have. We are the data controller. For any privacy question, contact us at hello@axonicworks.com.
1. What we collect
- Contact form. When you submit our contact form we collect the name, email address and message you provide.
- Analytics (only with your consent). If you accept analytics in the cookie banner, Google Analytics 4 collects usage data — pages viewed, device and browser information, approximate location derived from your IP address, and on-page interactions. It sets cookies named
_gaand_ga_*. - Server logs. Our hosting records standard technical data (IP address, timestamp, user agent) for security and to operate the site.
We do not sell your data, run advertising trackers, profile you, or make automated decisions about you, and we do not collect special-category data.
Providing the information in our contact form is voluntary, but we need it to respond to your enquiry. Our site is intended for a business audience and is not directed at children under 16; we do not knowingly collect their data.
2. Why we use it and our legal basis (GDPR Art. 6)
- To respond to your enquiry — to take steps at your request before any engagement (Art. 6(1)(b)) and our legitimate interest in answering you (Art. 6(1)(f)).
- Analytics — your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time.
- Security and operation of the site — our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)).
3. Who processes your data
- Google — contact submissions are delivered to and stored in Google Sheets; and Google Analytics provides analytics (only after consent).
- Telegram — we receive a notification of your contact submission via Telegram.
- Hosting — the site runs on a self-hosted server located in the EU (Germany).
These providers process data under their own terms. Some (e.g. Google) may transfer data outside the EEA under appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
4. Cookies and similar technologies
- Essential. We store your cookie choice in your browser’s local storage (key
klaro). This is not used for tracking. - Analytics (optional).
_ga/_ga_*are set by Google Analytics only after you accept analytics.
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time via the “Cookie settings” link in the footer.
5. How long we keep it
We keep contact submissions for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and for a reasonable period afterwards, then delete them on request. Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics’ retention settings.
6. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- have it corrected or erased;
- restrict or object to processing;
- data portability;
- withdraw consent at any time — as easily as you gave it, via “Cookie settings”.
